So sad to hear of the sudden death, at just 48, of Dallas Good, from Canadian psychedelic surf bluegrass noise sculptors, The Sadies. I was lucky enough to see the band a few times in Cardiff, often playing to paltry audiences, but they were one of the tightest, most exhilarating guitar bands I ever saw: death defying mid-air de-tunes, the interplay of Dallas' telecaster with his brother Travis on a Gretsch and enough twang to shake the foundations of The Earth.
