Biography

I'm originally from Middletown NY where I began playing guitar at age 16. I played in many side projects but played with my main band for 17 years as an iron maiden tribute. We we're quite successful for a tribute band and played the bigger venues around NYC especially down in the village. I now live on the Carolina coast and run a modern home recording studio. I can shred if needed or I can hipnotize you with pink Floyd type chord progressions. Been teaching guitar theory and advanced soloing technique and spend all my free time in my studio. I'm into progressive rock like Queensryche,Dream Theater,Pink Floyd ect.

Instrumente

I own 3 ESP LTD PRO LEVEL GUITARS AND A JACKSON SOLOIST, I ALSO HAVE A LTD BASS MOSTLY FOR MY RECORDING IM A BEGINNING BASSIST, I Also have a fender acoustic, I use Marshall amps and others for recording and I collected over 20 yrs worth of cables, Mike's ect. I switched from studio one to reaper as my RECORDING platform because most musicians around are already familiar with it.

Aufnahme-Equipment

I use a simple PreSonus interface, I'll upgrade to something with more inputs eventually, but for what I'm doing it's perfect.but I am not lacking with new up to date technology. I use several moniters to keep visuals on any plugins while keeping my tracking moniter clear to track, I've recently departed as lead guitarist from a really cool band and great musicians to focus on my Recording Studio and getting better at mixing and mastering audio. Music is my passion and I'm just branching off to do other things without having a commitment in a working band. But I'm hoping I can find others on here with a Recording set-up to collaborate with. I'm open minded to all instruments and prefer music that is deep and thought provoking. Music that develops a life of it's own and is bigger than myself. I also like using Dynamics in volume and tone to create moods and convey the message or intent of a particular song. Which is why I love Pink Floyd, but Im more of a old school type metal guitarist influenced by all the axe masters of the 80s and 90s. Today's metal seems to be missing the melodic side of music, lead guitar today in many of the metal bands have become a barage of sweeped arppegios and at over 200bpm which is quite impressive. But music is not a sport or contest, and I must add not all today's metal is like that although the majority is, There are always exceptions. Anyway I'm way off track, anyone wishing to collaborate or needing a melodic guitarist that will shred if needed that's my reason for joining and I'll be posting some tracks in hopes of others adding to them.
