Awesome Mario ! I like the feeling of this rhythm I know nothing about this kind of music.Make me think of Gnawi sensation but binary. Are you sure it's a 4/4 and not a 6/8 ? Good job , my friend .

This is Amazing because your bass lines imply 4/4 lines over the 6/8 percussion! Excellent Glez!!

Although I understand the nomenclature and the concept of the beats, I do not focus too much on it and just let myself be led by the musical intuition and the sonority of a groove to put the bass notes, if it works .... it works :D

Doesn't matter what you call it as long as the rhythm works...but for those who'd like to know the pattern is generally called "clave" (pronounced claw-vey). It's originally an African rhythm based on a 3 against 4 and can be accented several different ways depending on whether you're playing Rumba, Mambo, Salsa, etc. Mario does this so well!
