I like the tone you used, especially the soft attack. The flatwound strings I'm using tend to make the attack very punchy, which doesn't sound as good on this track. Nicely done :) +1

jaeusm My fender is the smoothest playing, though I rarely use it :) It's got a different set of strings than my other basses, which are all using TI Flats. If you want some thump, try different sets of flats. :) +1

I never play my 81 jazz .. dunno why, lazy is why .. my atk sits in it's stand and it's there is all. haha I do have some fender stainless flats kickin 'round somewhere, good idea. I was into it for a brief while, even had the piece of foam strategically placed up by the bridge. Crazy :P +1
