why do i ask you how you feel?
does it mean anything to me?
i expect you to say just fine
and then you ask the same of me
it is a boring game to play
and yet i play it everday
what if we really said the truth
then we might have to follow through

will it make a difference
if you know what’s on my mind
anyway everything is alright
guess i’ll just reply
