Thanks, I have been experimenting with different micing and mixing techniques. This one uses X-Y overheads with Rhodes NT5s and an M201 on the snare. Cheers P :)

Sounds great! the x-y is a good method, I like to use the glyn johns method sometimes, which places one of the overheads at the side - sounds fabulous if you can get it right!

He used this method to record many classic recordings, check him out on google. You get a nice fat drum sound, the principle is the overheads pick up 75% of the overall drum sound. Doesn't work for everything but give it a blast!
