Thanks for leaving the gaps JazzReeds :) I filled them with a trombone. Solo from 1:52.

what a phantastic sound! really loved your solo, but -to add some mild criticism- I feel you are a little too up front in the mix, and the drummer in me couldn't help but notice you came a lil late on some of the lines :P
PLEASE give us more trombone and forget what I just said, loving it for real. +1

That’s a great add nadrek. Your sound is excellent. Your lines are controlled and very much in tune with the whole vibe. I’m not sure what Dick means by coming in late. That’s Jazz Dick. The mix is great too. If you ever want to do some big band multi track stuff I’m your man👍

lol, yeah, thats Jazz, no doubt :)
To explain what I was trying to say (not to extend the mild criticism):
I noticed the trombone has a similar delayed effect to an upright bass: The tone needs some time to build up and become loud.
When playing upright bass, that will lead to sounding laid back timing wise, even tho your fingers are plucking spot on in time.
To play spot on (soundwise), one needs to play a little ahead of time. I just had the feeling that a similar effect was taking place here, hence my comment.
From my little sax and trombone experience, I'd say the sax reacts a lot quicker, but I think you'll be familiar with what I'm talking about. +2
