So I recorded this in my walking closet--has concrete floors and lots of clothes---sliding door closed top BLOCK AC noise----Had my foot on a chair and I was moving my neck towards the mic at times and backing the sound hole away when I played hard. Also Duplicated the track and brought the one recorded track to the 2nd track and added a reverb and I panned that track in several positions on the timeline--This is on my ...

GemmyF It doesn't really get too hot in there because I usually leave as my battery starts to drop---I played this in one take--so I was in there and out there. +1

GemmyF Thanks Again! There is a guy in the show how he records an acoustic guitar--I want to do one where the on mic id pointed at the neck above the sound hole and one point at the body below or past the bridge---and he pans them hard and hard right--he says it really dimensional ----he has super professional equipment---it's probably on the wikiloops front page in the forum section +1

GemmyF I have a cheap Large diaphragm mic--I mean cheap so I wasn't able to completely keep the sound hole away from the mic. My son has a cheap MORGAN ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC(whoops all caps lock) and I use that with the first technique I mentioned --it gets really good sound with the pickup and Mic---- also when I was recording the mic was almost to a row of clothes---it really takes away unwanted bouncing--cause like you hear you can always add a really good reverb in afterwards +0
