The Girl from above - Folk
I recorded this one again with 2 acoustic guitars : The Furch and the Yamaha.
Only external mic, pan 100% left with the Furch and 100% right with the Yamaha. I made a natural chorus like this (cool idea from Toshino).

Leftdaloops1019 So how many times did it take you on the 2nd take? you can also use the same guitar put a mic right above the sound hole on the neck(like a barrel mic) and one on the body behind the bridge(a large diaphram-vocal type mic) -- and split the pan for the two tracks --- makes a very robust recording.

ARNOSOLO Thank you my friend for your good advice. In general, I make a single shot by simultaneously recording 2 tracks. One by connecting my guitar directly to my sound card and the other with an external microphone placed between the 12th and 15th frets. Then I mix by sending 1 track on the left and the other on the right. This is finally what I have done here, but my 2 guitars do not have the same sound at all. The Furch has a lot more low while the yamaha is more treble more brilliant. here I only kept track with the external microphone. By playing the 2 guitars in a similar way, I wanted to create this effect of natural chorus. B):D +1

ARNOSOLO I usually use a large diaphragm microphone (SP B1) for my acoustic guitar recording. I have a SM57 but I am not satisfied with the result for acoustic recordings.;) +0
