Wonderful song Mary. <3 I really agree words. Personally I´ve been kept waiting for about 16 years to get a retirement. our leaders has got the idea that people dealing with illness os all kinds are lacy and they will get well and get a job if the cut down their welfare. But thank you for the song. it´s great medicine. :D

In the U.S., you are elgible for Medicare at 65. But there are rumors that our administration may alter it. So many older people rely on it to stay alive. It's sad.

In my country (Denmark) lower price on medicin walks hand in hand with having a retirement. only people in this category will get lower prices. At the same time we have one of the greatest (richest) medicinecompaggys in the world. They are making billions from their productions. Still they keep rising the prices on their products and they cut down the number og employers like all other companies. The result is: More poor people without jobs and the people still at work gets stresset and more likely they will get ill.It is a vicious spiral :o

I think our medical insurance really puts a strain on all of us, but seniors are even more vunerable.

You are perfectly right. My only concern though is that when the pressure and the burdens on "healthy younger" people are increased on such a high level the "young" will get "old" much faster without any benefits that will easen their lives. ;)
