It’s the alligator shuffle
As they sun themselves outside
Their bellies full of fish you see
Perhaps they’ll ignore my hide

I’m staying far away from the pond
They say that on the shore
That things can go wrong

I hear there are black bears all around
They prowl through trash and shrubs
They only come on out at night
Looking for a little grub

I think I’ll stay indoors you see
And drown my fears with good TV

You know they say there are pythons
That squeeze the life of prey
Sometimes they tackle larger
Animals that tend to stray

I guess I’ll stay on cement roads
So I’m not mistaken for
A loud-mouthed toad

break

For it’s Florida I’m bound for
With tropical delights
Like carnivores and critters
That bite throughout the night

But I’m excited for adventures
And hope that danger’s not my plight
