Just Remembering

The sun caught me on my way to the car.
I'm basking in it now and just remembering things.
Wish you were here with me, don't mean to rub it in,
the sun will still be here when you come home. If not I'll keep the light on for you.
And there's wood for the fire if the lights go out.
For now the heat of this day brings memories to life, of times we've laughed so long about nothing much, and of quiet moments with us just curled up together. Somehow this day is good like many others. wish you were here to feel it. but love, the sun will still be here when you come home."
