This afternoon I went for a walk at the Huelin's market, there was a band playing, I allowed myself to do an "improvisation" with them ... discreetly
GlezBass
:D:D the comment of the jam is masterful hahaha !! but don't believe it sounds the same as if you had played live with the market band! Are you sure you're not a flamenco gipsy? your line is perfectly flamenco :o
never hesitate to take your violin in tow on your walks !!!

GlezBass There are not too many flamenco renowned violinists in my country, Paco Montalvo is one of them, but except geniuses like you who dare to play violin and flamenco in every corner of this world, there are not too many violonists of this style. I consider that the central instrument is the guitar! If you have noticed in the video that the bass tells me in tone and phrasing is similar to our jam! ;) +1

GlezBass On the other hand although it has nothing to do with flamenco, in the place where I live (Malaga) the violin is very typical in a folklore called "Verdiales" that is native and exclusive to this region, and the violin is a central instrument with the tambourine and the guitar

Jypeka Thank you for your explanations Mario
There are so many folklores, in the regions of each country, it is very old
Here the violinist holds his violin close to the ear, I do not know if it's because he does not hear himself playing, or if it's a tradition
Thanks again Mario for your explanations ;)

A nice discretion ... :) We have the impression that you moved from one table to another from right to left, :D +0

Jypeka I was doing this in the 80s, with a guitarist on the terraces of restaurants by the sea ... we earned a lot of money "at the time" :) +1
