Wade We all have an ego (of some sort). When playing music it's a good idea to always put the integrity of the music first rather than our egos. I often have a problem with some types of jazz where it's all about the performer showing off their chops. Unfortunately the sax is almost always associated with jazz. The range of music we get to play here is a soothing balm that allows the sax to not have to indulge in the jazz prejudice.
