A Country Christmas

Well Caesar, called a census, for each and every town.
To return, to the place where they were born.
So, Joseph, and his wife Mary, set out for Bethlehem,
But they found, no room at the local inn.

The shepherds and the wise men, they saw a shining star,
And prayed, that this would be that special day.

The cattle, they were lowing, that baby lay awake,
In a manger, a stable safe and warm.
They say if you believe in Him, in Heaven you will dwell,
His love, to guide you through the storm.

And knew that this, was that special day.
