I hear footsteps in the hall
They sound like war drums as they fall.
they threaten from outside the door.
there's nothing that I fear more
they want to play inside the palace of my mind
the padded walls behind the Halls keep me safe from them all
the voices in my head the voices of the Dead they call to me over and over again
play with us come play with us join us in the dance
it will be such a glorious sight to see
We will revel in ecstasy
as the voices accompany us

the ghost planned my death without
these asylum walls still talked about
the day the Rivers and moon turn red.
I joined the dance with the whispering dead
the voices are haunting they are still taunting over and over and over again
I hear them now they're coming from within
in the company of the whispering dead I hear the voices in my head
I must make this end
now we are all dead
there is silence in my head
