The world is closed,
And everything is quiet,
As the earth finally starts to breathe.

It’s the first full breath she has taken
In several decades,
Not clogged with chem trails, cars,
The white noise of humming buildings
Or the shriek of crowded streets.

The trees sigh and
Flowers finally start to smile-
A welcomed break from years
Of agitated living.

Slowly the globe inhales and exhales,
Her clear skies
Reflecting blue waters below
Far deep as they are wide.

Corona’s caused
An environmental reset…

A reprieve at last.
