I got inspired by those trip hop songs. Fascinated by all the layering of sounds i heard. Made a basic template with some chords hoping someone would jump in. Well done Rob. Nice guitarplaying and you left enough space left for hopefull the next layer.

great :)Did you develop the sound from playing, or did you have an idea from the start of how it should sound?

I listened to the song once then I knew what I would do. After this I played it only one time with what the song inspired me. Mainly improvisation on the pattern I imagined at first.

Many thanks for your response. When you listen, you develop an idea for the whole thing and then implement it. I would call that a "deductive" approach. For me it is the other way round, I need a tone first, and I sometimes have to search for a long time. Once found, this tone moves forward. This is a disadvantage for me because I never know how the whole thing should and will sound. So far I have not found any good reference tracks :)

You should try the free program "Riffstation". It gives the chords of a song. Even if it is not perfect it gives a very good idea.
You can download it for free. +1

Thank you. I have more than I use - guitar pro. A good thing. I will look at this reef station, maybe give new impulses.
