Added a bass line with my trusted `74 Fender JB, tricking a little with the low D now and then. Some melody instrument in the middle part would be nice, Gerry left a lot of space for soloists! Thanks for the beautiful trip along the coast on board of your sailing ship, Gerry !

I bought in England in the mid 70's. I found a clip on you tube of the same model. It has a really nice tone for a Japanese built Martin in my opinion.

in these times the Japanese built guitars sometimes were better than the originals from the states. I own a Squier Precision bass from `82 that is so outstanding in sound and playability, that I sold my original Fender `84 without giving it a second thought!

Yes I think some of them were, this particular model GCR-7 was apparently built in Japan then sent back to the states to be set up. Your Squire sounds like it's a treasure.
