More wonderful poetry from Mary that presented a challenge for a duet with a spoken voice.

Thanks Mary. Seems many more now hear what Ron and I heard in this, but with variations in the feeling.

Thanks Filo. The sopranino is in that high range like a trumpet. Occasionally I try to sound like a trumpet.

Cheers Mikey. So glad you're hearing those things (as intended). I wondered whether anyone would get it. It's a duet, but only half of it is tonal.

Thanks so much Thierry. It's something a bit different. The fit was very important to me. So glad you think it worked.

<3 Spoken words are a wonderful base for testing and developing melodic lines. I love the variation you bring with your Sax to support at the sametime the meaning of the words and the vocal flow

You were part of the inspiration for this with your version of this same poetry. We have each (now several others) given this our own interpretation. I'm especially glad that you (like Mikey) hear the duet characteristics in this.
