Todo List: think more in terms of scales and how they relate to chords. Very nice DidierS, I like the way you think. :)

The kids don't want this for guitar lessons, but it's exactly what they need. Written music can share musical concepts so quickly. I did Mel Bay, seven books, in seven years with a Trumpet-playing music teacher. I started when I was 6. Thanks for this link. I'll sure research this. P.S. the blues ... eh needs some feel. e.g. maybe smoke a cigarette, lose a wife, drink some booze, etc. Otherwise, lol. This is very helpful for new players because I know it's written first and the student has to read, learning while he practices.
