But, I, have my own kind of church I like to go too
you see, when my soul needs a little revivin
well, I head on over to Ernie440s house
and he'll really make you feel better when you are feeling blue

you see, first off he breaks out that tennessee mash
and once you've had a little of that, and your spirit's been lifted
well, he will just reach back there and grab that old bass
He'll just start playing away
some of the sweetest sermon's I have ever heard

well, i've never understood how all that works
and how that sermon comes out, everytime old Ernie plays
