So sad to hear of the sudden death, at just 48, of Dallas Good, from Canadian psychedelic surf bluegrass noise sculptors, The Sadies. I was lucky enough to see the band a few times in Cardiff, often playing to paltry audiences, but they were one of the tightest, most exhilarating guitar bands I ever saw: death defying mid-air de-tunes, the interplay of Dallas' telecaster with his brother Travis on a Gretsch and enough twang to shake the foundations of The Earth. Been listening to several Astor Piazzolla albums : Libertango (1974), Summit / Cumbre (1974 - with Gerry Mulligan), Persecuta (1977), Chador (1978), Biyuya (1979). ESCUALO is a wonderful composition which can be found on Biyuya. Here is a live version :
