The original version had Eric Clapton and Duane Allman doing a guitar battle. Blew my teenage mind to pieces with guitar lines going from so beautiful to so mean. The original showed me how two guitars could intertwine and weave in and out with each other always complimenting each other. This song was a HUGE influence on me. It also taught me how to let go and enter "the zone" and kick into overdrive during the solo then come back down to earth for the verse and choruses. Anyone who has played live infront of people and was fortunate to "Enter the Zone" , should know what Im trying to say.
