Did this with my friend Bruno (circa 2016-2017). He had several old tunes he had recorded on the keys back in the 90s I think, I just put guitar on some of them. Photos were taken by Bruno in the suburbs of Paris :)

I got some new noise making toys for Christmas and couldn't wait to give them a try in a 'loops jam. I couldn't have found a better template to unleash my new pickups (DiMarzio 36th Anniversary neck & Super Distortion bridge) and pedal in (Bogner Ecstacy Blue Mini). I remember the first time ever hearing this song. I had heard "Freeway Jam" and borrowed this album from a friends brothers record collection. I went to my room and played the entire album and then when I heard "Cause We Ended As Lovers", I remember every hair on my arm stood up. I was electrified. Since then Ive probably had over 7 or 8 copies of this album. Every note , every phrase is burned and ingrained into my soul. Ive played over this album since the age of 14 or 15.
Jeff once said in an interview he plays like a saxophonist, and that is what confuses most guitar players. I hear that now.

My new band in Spain are keeping me challenged for sure! Here's us attacking Rush's Tom Sawyer a few weeks ago at a bar not far from me. I still have some homework to do on this song to get some of Neal Peart's licks in there. We're a rock and prog band plus we also do a few of our own songs too which we sprinkle in the set.

Most of our videos are on Facebook so I'll have to dump a load on YouTube to post here.

Thanks, Xavi. I love it here - it's been a stressful, expensive and rocky road due to Brexit but I'm all settled here in southern Spain permanently now.

I uploaded one of my band's original songs last night to the 'Tube, recorded at the same gig as the video above. I'm very lucky to have found this band - they're all very capable and keen to take on the songs that others won't!

It's a lot of work videoing and recording these gigs (takes me a couple of days to mix and edit to a basic level!) but it helps our videos stand out from other bands in the area.
