Am all excited it's happening again, very happy to see who the people attending are & the thought of being with you all again though a bit sorry some can't make it..
Let me add i regret my long absence lately, no loss of love... but due to my 93 year old Mum growing assistance requirements & subsequent adjustments, my life has been temporarily ''taken hostage'', taking away the peace of mind i need to be here, play, record, interact & so on. I've just been playing away the pressure..
It's my way of dealing w/ strife, i focus on it, lower my horns & charge at it until it's either dealt with or…
But i promise i'll show up fully relaxed ! ;)

Will look asap into flights, etc..

I'd love that. I want to be there this year, and thank you all. Really, I want to be there. But financial realities dictate otherwise :( I'm so aware I've not added here since November last year and I keep meaning to but it's proving difficult.

re. my neighbour: you're not far off the mark, Nuno. He's now throwing legal arguments, via a solicitor friend of his, that our Lotus Elise is, quote, "known to emit sparks" and therefore a fire threat to his thatched cottage. I'm not joking. He's suggesting, and trying to enforce, that our car can set fire to his house, along with our "heavy smoking" in the garden and having ornamental candles.

He's genuinely trying to prevent us living our lives. Again..

Nevertheless, it's not an excuse for me not uploading recently. I'm on it - just need to get round to it.

I should add is what our neighbour doesn't know, and the local police have have informed us of (because we've had them out to get his damn car moved as he's blocking ours leaving), he cannot stop me playing my drums, it seems. As long as I keep it within 'reasonable' hours and time (say 30 minutes), he cannot stop me. My house is, acoustically, ideal for recording. I've just not exercised it yet.

Maybe it's time I got the drums out...

There was talk on this forum of a North American get together a while back, but it did not come to fruition. Maybe we could talk about that again. I would love to go to Germany but my schedule won't allow it, at least for this year. We can live vicariously through the videos though :)

The possibility has been discussed with several members in the USA. It takes someone in the USA to take responsibility and organize it. It will not happen any other way. You'd also need to take a "straw poll", to see how many would commit to going, work out transport, venue and accommodation. It's a major project that requires lots of time and energy. The initial jam in Germany was organized by Richard. Fortunately there was a great venue with accommodation and kitchen facilities close to where he lives. The venue now being used has good accommodation, and several areas for jams and is still close to Richard's home. It has has a cafeteria so no cooking duties.

First step is someone stepping up and saying they will do the organizing. Without that nothing will happen. OK you USA guys it's over to you.

If there were a number of people going from this side of the pond, a bunch of us could perhaps meet like in London & share the same flight !?
