Wikiloops live perfomance

OK my friends I have some exciting news! This may be a Wikiloops first. So, here's the story... I used to teach drama at a local theatre and recently I got in touch and asked if I could use the space to record my vocals (as my apt is terrible for music). They offered me a regular weekly slot which I am now using to record. While I am there recording...it occurred to me that I could also be preparing for a live performance.(which I haven't done for years) I having been sifting through all my jams and I created a set list that I felt would both translate to stage visually. As I will be basically singing live to pre-recorded backing tracks, I realized I would really need costumes, dancing etc and now it is developing into a show or rock opera. I have yet to finalize my set list but it mostly contains ambient music as this is the easiest to visually portray. Of course, any artists involved have had permission asked and given. Watch this space for updates!!

Oh yes indeed! And we're discussing doin a Rocky Horror type show in the fall so I can do gothic rock. I think Vahalla would be awesome live. I loved Alice Cooper growing up and theatre and rock go so well together eh?

Valhalla sounds like a great number, especially how it's built and sounds. I'm no expert, but it does sound theatrical. would be awesome to see it acted out in performance:o

I have so much material now I could do a set in every genre. But not all genres translate to theatre.. the exception is Rock and Ambient. In my opinion <3<3<3

Good on you! I can totally picture you in this role as instigator and the main artist.

Your voice and acting are made for stage performance. Strong presence and clear diction are ultra important. You're not lacking in either department!
