Randomizing the results of a search?

Is there a feature here that would bring back a randomized list of search results, or select one result from a search at random?

I'm a bassist and thinking about adding some content to my YouTube channel where I take a random wikiloops track that I've never heard before, and then play along with it while I record myself. I could just do a regular search and pull off the top result, or pick one from the list, but I want it to be truly random.

The closest you can get to a "true" random result is dialing in a random number into the track Searchbox. Any ID below the current latest tracks ID will return some track - or a block screen if you hit a private tracks or a removed tracks ID.
The downside is that you have no option to filter for bass-less tracks.

Another option would be to generate a random number with some external tool, and then take that result (the tracks position in the list, not the track ID) from the no-bass filtered wikiloops results. I think that's what I'd do, hope you get what I'm trying to suggest here ;)

i thought this was a cool idea, looked into some google search stuff, but i think you have to use an external program to randomize results. via google you can search with something like:

site:wikiloops.com inurl:backingtrack -"bass:"

the backing tracks (jam tracks) all seem to have "backingtrack" in the url and the -"bass:" excludes tracks with the words "bass:" on the page (which is the best i could find as a way of filtering out an attributed bass add).

you would still need to randomize the results.

The pick track by random number is great. But when you end up on a blank or removed track, could there be a way to increment or decrement to neighbor track? most times I forget the random number I typed in.
