Play/ pause button stutter on Apple devices

Dick, Hi,
I have noticed the play pause button on my Apple devices does not function - smoothly?
If I pause, sometimes it stutters (start/stop) at the same place. A small amount of sound. It sometimes will stop the playing, and then not start, even though the indicator shows a Pause (like the track is playing) but no sound and no movement on the position indicator.
It has also stopped looping. It gets to the end, goes to the beginning and the indicator shows it playing ( pause double line is displayed, but does not start again. And can not get it to play without a screen refresh. This is when focus had moved to another tab and then back again.

I have seen this multiple times over different devices. Different days and times.

These are mobile devices no Mac ( I don’t have one). It works without problem on the PC.

My wife (I listen to the loops through the night);and my eyes also thank you for the dark mode.
