Want to develop your timing?

Hi, just found for myself this practice routine for better timing.
Just play along with ANY instrument with a simple pattern, riff or whatever and get through it - the rhythm will have more and more empty spaces, which you will fill with your internal pulse.
Inspired by the great genious bassist Victor Wooten.
Easy at the beginning, very hard near the end.

Victor Wooten's book "The Music Lesson" is also an amazing inspiration, not only for the bassists, if you do not know it already..

I read the book a few years ago...great read! For me it was inspirational and made me a better player from where I was at the time.It helped me to close off what was going on around me and my playing improved.
