Any input on recording using a Djembe to upload to tracks? Haven't uploaded anything yet and wanting to start there
Thanks

I'd use two mics on a Djembe, one capable of catching high frequencies (small condenser) on the top end and a dynamic mic to catch the bass behind the Drum - assuming that you play it while sitting and with the open end in the air.
Its difficult to get both the high pitched action and the bass boom onto your recording with a single mic - play around with microphone positioning untill you find something that sounds decent to you :)
You'll find a lot of other usefull info here in the forums which aren't specifically djembe related, so I'll leave it at those 2 cents for now, hope thats what you were wondering about.
