Biography

My name is Damien, I started playing guitar at like 9 years old, when I found an old Hofner electric guitar in our wine cellar of our old house. I taught myself by listening to my favorites at the time, and playing along. My mom's freind also taught me some basics to get started, as well as how to tune the guitar. Years later I joined a band with my friends, playing guitar on a nice shiny new red Peavey. There were 5 members in our band but eventually 2 members quit, so I decided to transfer to bass guitar, and we became a three piece band. We played for 6 years, made it to radio, and played many live shows, having the best times of our lives. Over time however, lives changed and the band eventually broke up. I ended up getting into electronic music and hip hop beats because I still wanted to make music, but was now on my own... so I adapted, you could say. Anyways, I now own Absolute Underground Radio, an online independent hip hop radio station. I also do video production and motion graphics.
A little while ago my girlfriend came across an Ibanez bass guitar online for a great price, and she brought it to my attention. I decided to buy it, and I am now working my way back up to get my fingers and forearms conditioned as they were in the past, and back to my past skill level, then beyond. Finding this website is amazing, because I can jam with you all from right here on my couch, I mean.... GENIUS!!

I own a bass guitar, for wikiloops I will likely only be submitting bass guitar and vocals remixes, but I may eventually dabble into the hip hop section to throw in some of my beats, or maybe I'll rap a verse. :) you never know...

Aufnahme-Equipment

I do not currently own a bass amp, so I plug my bass directly into my computer, and use amp modelling in Logic 9, on my macbook. I record within the Logic 9 environment.
