Biography

Self taught french musician, The Covid pandemia brought me back to writing, composing songs at home.
As a child, I grew up with Supertramp, Kraftwerk and JJ Goldman. (not to forget Jean Michel Jarre)
As a teenager my favourite bands were Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, New Order, and The Cure. (Not to forget The Clash)
Later on I discovered the Doors, Led Zepellin, Jazz and World music.
Living in the Pyrenees and The Basque Country for years, I learned how to sing traditional folk songs.

I'm also fond of film music and my favourite composers are :
eric Serra (the Big Blue)
angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch (Twin Peaks)
Vangelis (Blade Runner)

Instrumente

I mainly sing folk, pop and new wave and play Bass guitar, Electric and acoustic guitar and keyboard parts.
I own a D50 Roland synth, two Ibanez guitars, a cheap Fender style bass guitar.
I'm quite fond of vintage synths like Prophet, Arp, Juno, Jupiter... and TR series for drum machines. I lately discovered the wonderful recent C15 from Non linear labs and have also an eye on the russian Formanta Maestro.
But so far I stick to my good old Roland D50 ( I just repaired a dead key and replaced battery )

Aufnahme-Equipment

I started on GarageBand on my mid 2010 macbook pro slowly moving to Logic Pro X and I now record myself with a vintage Korg D3200 workstation combined with Logic Pro X on the same good old macbook pro laptop.
I prefer hardware vs software for recording, mixing even if modern softwares are amazing for home studio productions but unfortunately my current laptop isn't powerful enough !
For the bass and guitars and vocals I'm using a TL5050 valve preamp.

In the future I'd love to improve the studio with acoustic treatment, decent RME interfaces, a better laptop or desktop with high capacities....
