Still a nice ballad with Marc, Alice, Paul, Mario ... I could not resist :) Thanks to you friends JP
GlezBass
Excellent job Jean Paul, so good violin background and solo part ;) +1
Jypeka
Jypeka Thank you Mario, the volume of the violin is not a little strong? +1
GlezBass
GlezBass For my taste this is in a plane of adequate volume
If you want to play in his magnificent "Ponty" style you should hear this jam to see what he suggests in the violin ... --> #118990 ;)

Jypeka Yes I listened, I love Zawinul!
But there are too many voices "africa" all along the track to add violin
I'm going to try ;)

You poured lovely colours to this song with that violin, so sweet Jypeka! glad you join us +1
Jypeka
Jypeka Thank you very much Alice, it is always a pleasure to play on your voice :) +0
Wade
Excellent set up for the vocals and good attention to the underlying harmonies. +1

Jypeka wow, I think it's the best album the 1st especially ... that the feeling when you play live with people, without having repeated .... in the following albums, you try to redo, improve (studio musician style)
but this is not the right solution at WL because you play 1X the tracks then we put them in drawers .... we would have to find a live formula :D

Wade
Wade I sure love playing live, but it's now very difficult for me. Playing here is the next best thing. +1
Jypeka
Jypeka well yes, I think the people who play on WL are people of their fifties, who played in bands being teenagers ... and who have fun here
for my part that's a bit like that
I don't know solfege, never took a violin lesson ... only by ear
WHAT A CHANCE TO HAVE FOUND THIS WONDERFUL SITE

Wade Yes, mostly in their 50s. I'm mid 70s. I did study music, but only like to play by ear/improvise. This is the perfect place for me to grab a track and try to play as though it's live and get it in one take. +0
Jypeka
Jypeka yes, time flies very quickly, i'm 63 years old next week ... but the same desire to play than when i'm 20
there is no age with music
on the other hand, sport ... worse when you get older :D

Marceys
Sounds great! Just curious what kind of mic do you use? +0
Jypeka
Jypeka I use a five-string electric violin of Italian brand "Cantini", with a pedal Roland GR 55, There is 1 sensor per string for the midi, and a micro bridge
For this track it is the natural sound of the micro bridge that goes into the preamp in the GR55 the reverb is already in the patch B)
