I couldn't pass up a chance to get lost in this wonderful piece by StJray. I play towards the end: 1:55 - 2:39.

Hi Blueboy, Welcome here.:W
The first notes of your addition reminded me of a melody used in a film called "Allegro non troppo - Bolero (1977)"!
Is it a coincidence?B)
Thank you for the addition, it is very appreciated.:)

Blueboy Thank you Ray! I was not aware of the similarity in the melodic line, but now can identify Ravel’s Bolero as likely an unconscious influence on what drew me to the phrase. I have loved that work since I was a child.:) +1

StJray I too had liked 'Ravel's Bolero' in my childhood and that probably explains why I liked the animated film '' Allegro non tropo '' which I left a link .:)

Blueboy Thanks for the link. I loved the way you put the Bayou piece together. Your artful and technically sophisticated integration of so many musical threads: guitar, percussion, vocal, ambient sounds (crickets, spoken words, laughter) all creating a sense of place and yet timelessness. +1

StJray I listened several times your addition and it's really well integrated ... I love!<3 +1
