Looping to make songs seems Boring to me and MUSIC Industry-esque.....and since they would never want me...why should I comply to their conventions! But I do play multiple takes to get the feel of the song and find harmonies and contrapunto melodies. After about(minimum of 10 to 15 takes--Max 30 takes) I have gotten all the way through it --somewhat "musically":D +3
