There's one individual in the whole human race
D'Ye ken his square, shiny and dishonest face?
He's out in the open, with nowhere to hide
On top of a falcon, hitching a ride

Back in the old times, before you were born
The fabric of social existence was torn
The Hippies rose up and immediately said
Let's fly to the moon, boys, before we are dead

A big, fuck-off rocket, and in it we'll fly
Up into the great and mysterious sky
Did all of the Hippies fly up to the moon?
They certainly lost the initiative soon


'Cos, ever since, NASA's been ruled by the suits
The tree has been dropping its shriveling fruits
As Nixon and Raygun and all of the rest
Conspired to retire the agency's best,


But, now, Musky is driving his red motor car
Along the great highway that leads to the stars
And after 4 decades of utter disgrace
The Hippies are back up in space
