i have been on the run
for far too long
hiding from an angry mob
hell bent on revenge
with a rope around my neck
even though I am innocent
chased across the barren lands
through the frozen nights
and the blinding light of day after day after day

on higher ground
I will make my stand
on that hill
I will sit and wait
squint through the iron sights
at blinding light of another day
day after day after day
It ends today
the hunters now become the prey
its my game to play
it ends my way
