She Left Me

I got home from work
Found my baby was gone
She left this morning and she did not leave alone
She left me
Headed for parts unknown
I bought my baby fancy things and I’m still paying off the loan

Figured I needed a couple of friends
To help me through this day
Maybe to buy me a couple of beers and pat me on the back and say
“You didn’t need her
She was no good for you anyway”
So I through up my arms walked the house around and told everybody
“What the hey”

She left me
She just walked on out the door
She left me
She just didn’t say anything more

Woke up the next morning
With the sun in my eyes
My stomach doing flip flops and my head doing three four time
She left me
I just want to lay down and cry
Tomorrow I may forget but her but today I just want to lay down and die

She left me
Headed for parts unknown
She left me
Cleaned me out of house and home

She left
Ooh-whoo, she left me
Yeah yeah, she left
Ooh-whoo, she left me
She left me
My baby left me
