Last night I dreamt about that good old pine log cabin home
Rode those lush green country hills where cattle used to roam
Thought about the wooden bridge we'd fish from you and I
We rode our ponies into town beneath that big Montana sky

I remember how we'd listen to the radio
Country music was our love and every song we'd know
On golden days like that they've closed the door

Now I could listen to old Hank sing country songs all day
I'm so lonesome I could cry since he went away
