no food on the table and no money in their pockets

no respect for workers and no future for the better

As the time has passed by, the time have given us hope
we have food on the table and money in our pockets
but the Blues
the Blues is still being played.

So tell me friends, are we happy now or do we despise ourselves
I can't say for my part that I'm happy with the world around me
but the Blues
