Very nice, Jean Paul! Full of emotion. The harmonics on the guitar work really well against the piano. Beautiful.

A very fine composition. Could have been a lot shorter as much is repeated, yet your piano work is enticing.

... in a world where everything is imposed on competition, approval, smart and speed, going against the current and disagreeing is a moral and civil obligation ... famous musical groups many years ago, when they had a lot to say in their songs they were not limited a few minutes, I believe that "music" should be listened to in suitable audio conditions and not in the car or on the phone while doing anything else, you need to grasp all the nuances and thoughts of the Artist in full .... good life:W

Not arguing any point about speed, or that shorter is somehow better. I mostly listen to "classical" music with few pieces being short, however they are not continually repeating, they evolve and tell stories and communicate emotions in a developing flow. Even Ravel's Bolero, although having the same theme develops through the use of instrumentation. Slave of the Sea doesn't do this and instead is more like a loop with the same theme and instrumentation. If you haven't got a lot to say it may be best to be brief, especially when your themes playing and production are so good. When you've been told a story do you want it repeated over and over without a break? Good communication is indeed a matter of timing, not a matter of how long, but how long it takes to tell your story.
