I know a gal called Brenda-Lee
She’s strong, independent, wild and free
The life of the party, she’s witty and fun
People always say she’s the intelligent one
Brenda-Lee took me for a fool
Til I cooked her breakfast, now she thinks I’m cool

She says make it baby make it, make those eggs so fine
Bake it baby bake it, your homemade bread’s divine
The hash brown potatoes, the slow cooked tomatoes
Your ‘shrooms send shivers right through my spine

I know a gal called Wendy-Sue.
Shh, I aint lyin, you know that it’s true
Wendy Sue brought Imelda Mae,
Amanda Lynn and Carla Faye
They ladies all thought they’d put me to the test
But now the all know my breakfast is best

They say make it…

So, Gentleman and Gay Ladies too,
If you want a Southern Gal to sleep with you
You gotta offer more than just a lively mind
Svelte good looks and the bump and grind
The thing they remember is the last thing they get
The bacon’s no good if the toast is wet
