Floating through the universe like a petal on a lake
Then someday someone comes along peddling something fake
Dinosaurs festoon the moat of the castle for the queen
Everybody comes along to applaud the time machine

Arriving through the portal at the place that's called Stonehenge
The travelors must amuse themselves at the commonfolks expense

Now every toadstool in the land turned a violent pink
And the therapists laid on their couches to have a good long think

No one dares to speak of the dreams and premonitions
Best not arm tomorrow with nightmare ammunition
