A beautifully minimal track from Charli56 and GlezBass that brought to mind Film Noir of the 1950s. Just went with that and tried to evoke dark alleys and "Dames" with bleach bond hair and too much cheap jewelry.

now I do like this one Wade, a real nice conversation going on here with charli and Glez, mind if I listen in ? and anyway, that girl hiding round that corner is keeping an eye and she is the one in the trenchcoat and fedora :) +5
Wade
Wade Is that you hiding around the corner? Yea, you've got the feeling for this hide and seek in the dark wet streets of some seedy metropolis (where neither of us lives Ha!). +1
DanDiplo
So slinky! Has that "Pink Panther" theme vibe - like you say, rainy streets with puddles of lamplight, high-contrasts B&W , macs glistening and broads hustling. Magic! +3
Wade
Wade Not someplace I want to live, but OK to visit and lurk around! Ha. So glad you like thanks Dan. +1
ROBJOL
Love it. Only you can play like that Wade. +2
Wade
Wade Thanks so much Rob and for liking it enough to join in. Thanks to you! +1
GlezBass
In your garden friend!! how well you handle this type of tracks, sound and sax line of the first category, and indeed ... this could be used for any movie with scenes as you describe in your comments :) +2
Wade
Wade Once again following your inspiration and loving playing along with you. Thanks to you my friend. +1
FrankieJ
Nice sneaking around in there:Y
I always liked the bleach blond hair and cheap jewelry type;)
+2
Wade
Wade Me too, don't tell my wife...oh yea, she's a blond...but doesn't like cheap jewelry. Cheers Frankie +1
FrankieJ
FrankieJ My wife doesn't like cheap jewelry either and she is red head/brunette.
I try not to piss her off:)

Wade
Wade I know about red-heads...my mother was one, have also dated a few in the distant past. +1
arcifric
The sax sound amazing! What a wide stereo! Its ping-pong delay? +2
Wade
Wade Thanks arcifric! I'm afraid I'm 100% low tech so make this effect in editing in Audacity. There's a little bit of reverb and delay (to match the track). The stereo is a funny trick of having two identical sax channels and dropping around 5 ms and 3 db from one channel. I then pan one full left and the other full right. The odd bit is that the louder channel isn't the the channel that comes first. It's subtle, but works. +1
arcifric
arcifric Yeah! Thanks for your answer...this is an old school method :-) works good! +1
bluesdog
Yes you just made the Pink Panther come back Wade - super track, bravo to all! +2
Wade
Wade Thanks bluesdog. I think this is the Pink Panther's more serious cousin the Black Panther. Ha! +1
Marceys
Story telling play! Wade cool! +1
Wade
Wade It's a dirty little tale told in the dark, but tantalizes many of us straight types. Cheers Marc. +1
Charli56
Thank you Wade for your beautiful saxophone here. It sounds so romantic and played with a lot of love and warmth. Thanks for coming. And thanks for your happy jamming. I am very pleased.:Y<3<3;) +1
Wade
Wade So good to be on a track with you. It's your inspiration that keyed Mario and then me. All the thanks go back to you. +1
