A wonderful rhythmic track from Stamim2000 that enticed me into it's Middle Eastern Charm. Sopranino added but not quite in the Kaa mode.

This is fantastic!! Almost 4 minutes and it remains exciting. Bonds from Maurice Ravel`"Boléro" can be guessed. You play with a magical sound!! +3
Wade
Wade That's so very kind of you! I guess that the influence in Bolero is the same being either North African or Middle Eastern. They are very similar "modes". Thanks so much for your kind words and giving this a listen. +0

Excellent sound that seems to emerge from the bottom of the earth or silence together with the percussion of Stamim !!! very nice to hear !! can hypnotize cobras ... and humans !!!:)<3 +2
Wade
Wade Thanks Mario. So glad you like this one. Very unusual for me to play with just drums...much easier with bass...especially yours! +1
Tofzegrit
I will add some sparkling to this my friend +2
Wade
Wade And so you did! And I'm so grateful! I had not though at all about other adds and how difficult that could be.

Thanks Chris.

Wade
Wade So kind of you Rob. the biggest compliment is when you wish to be part of it. Thanks once again to you. +1
hartmut
wonderful play, or should I say wonderful sing?
Splendid

Wade
Wade Hartmut, you've got it. The essence of playing sax is to think like you're singing. So glad that comes across. Thanks. +1

Very nice, Wade :)

Suggests reflections with a bit of mysticism <3

Wade
Wade So good of you Mirko. I aspire to tell stories that can touch people (in a good way). Yes, that's sort of like being a musical shaman. +1

In the heart of the tropical forest. Thank you for this beautiful trip Wade :)

Wade I knew you'd relate to this and get the exoticism of it. Thanks titi. +0

You take this rhythmic magic and wrap it in your Beautiful sound and glorious melodies and variations that make 4 minutes seem not enough time!!! Excellent, Wade!! +2
Wade
Wade So kind of you Dan. I seldom play with just drums or start templates. So much easier to follow the patterns others set down. I have a passion for Middle eastern rhythms and music, so this was not too difficult. +0

But this is such a cool winding of musical coils around the frame, never constricting but delightfully teasing & hypnotising until one is enticed to listen over and wonder where the last few minutes have gone? +2
Wade
Wade Wonderful Kaa (snake) references. Fact is I really like snakes and get very excited when I get a chance to be around them (in Australia). We have some really big pythons that are amazing and generally very calm. Biggest one I've seen at my house was 3.5 meters. There are several living in the ceiling of our house, which is normal and desirable as they eat the bad guys. A few years ago a boat shed was demolished in a nearby town and they found two pythons in the ceiling the "mama" was over 7 meters long. +1

PJE 7m that’s a helluva size....I’m fascinated by snakes, growing up in Africa had so many encounters...from Rock Pythons 6m to fearsome and furiously fast Black Mambas...I’ve been bitten by, eaten them and even seen one chopped into pieces with the head part live enough to bite you the next day +1
Wade
Wade I think I'd have lots of respect and keep plenty of distance from a Black Mamba. I have lots of South African friends who tell stories. I'm now regularly playing with two SA players (guitar and bass). +1
