LittleWing
LittleWing Yes this is my old profile , however I was sound engineer . Did not play on this track. +2
Riffraff
Riffraff LOL! Good to know. I'll be mining for more gems there. I was so busy with work yesterday I didn't even check the original template. The "leftTheLoops9-18" name through me off your trail. That's a ripping track. I'll be putting on my heavy metal big boy pants and revisiting the original template for another helping too. :D:o:W +0
LittleWing
LittleWing I used to be "Relativity".Alot of tracks were wiped out when I left.Actually now that I hear this on my studio monitors this IS all me on the basic track. I originally listened on cell phone and I didnt recognize it. I vaguely remember doing this it was very fast but yes the original track is me.

There are some gems if you keep scrolling down the track list for LefttheLoops 9-18 such as:

I never heard these remixes so they are all new to me. great job!

I now suddenly remember the title came from being on painkillers as I had a rear molar removed and was in bad tooth pain.I was angry at the world!I was eating crab and bit down full force on a piece of shell, and shattered the tooth, exposing the nerve.. LOL!

Ernie440
Ernie440 Joe, That's a great rock song too! Crazy that this developed into something tooth related what with your issue you had with the crab. :O I figured you might not be hearing any remixes with your old acct. Rock on! Thanks for that! +1
rootshell
hell yeah Ron, love the wah wah raw sound, bad ass! :W +2
Riffraff
Riffraff Thanks brotha. I rushed it this morning and missed an opportunity. I should have extended the rhythm part behind the lead a few bars and trimmed the rhythm part after the lead by the same amount so I could extend the lead a few bars. Could have been better. The other mistake was the whammy parts. I added a Cantrell style whammy dive in the background thing at 1:43 but shouldn't have done it again at 1:54. Too much. :D +1
rootshell
rootshell i love it, wah and distortion is like one of my favorite sounds to listen to. the tone is killer, did you use any of your vintage stuff in this? +1
Riffraff
Riffraff The wah is a Cry Baby I got for Christmas when I was 13 ('76) so yeah, that's vintage LOL! The amp was my Peavey Rock Master tube preamp ('90s gear) so that's vintage too I guess. +3
rootshell
rootshell oh wow, i used to have one of them old Cry Baby pedals, loved it back then. my little Zoom pedal doesn't measure up to that Cry Baby sound. +1
Riffraff
Riffraff It's the old Thomas Organ version. I have a few processors with auto wah patches but that's different: ValveFX, 2120 Artist & a MPX-1. The 2120 & MPX-1 were covid times impulse buys I made just before joining the 'loops. I plan to get a little more organized with my gear this spring so it's all available for use when recording. +1
rootshell
rootshell i'm hoping to delve into some vintage products soon...maybe an old mic or something...will have to start perusing Craigslist and yard sales :) +1
Riffraff
Riffraff I see vintage mics listed for sale here once in a while. If you do a search within the classified section you may find a listing. I've bought a lot of vintage tubes from guys here. There's always someone selling tube testers too.
