Another very simple repetitive sequence. I play along with it on sax but it would be good have a guitar and bass develop it and remix it so the sequence is lower in the mix. Really hope someone will take the bait! Impossible to put in a genre as it all depends what people do with it.

PatrickDA Thanks but will anyone take it and make it more interesting - a challenge no doubt +1

Wade The main reason why it won't be taken up is quality. The fidelity (recording) is muddy. Most good quality adds wouldn't work with it. Players need a good quality template. Has nothing to do with what you're playing, it's the quality of the recording. Miking an acoustic instrument or any instrument that's not a direct electronic input is tricky. +0

PatrickDA Thanks Wade That's useful. I am not sure what I can do about it. I record from a Korg N364 via Roland DuoCapture DAW into Audacity. Same with sax and guitar. (Guitar through line-in on the DAW and sax via Shure515SD microphone). Any suggestions would be most welcome. In this template SO-SEQ all sounds came from the Korg into audacity via the DAW. +1

Wade I'm certainly no expert at recording. It honestly sounded like either an acoustic piano or an electric with a speaker. In either case the sound seems like there's a microphone too far away. Since it's all electronic the only things you can do are bring up the volume/fidelity and limit or boost the frequencies that will give better clarity via a graphic equalizer. Do this without reverb or delay, then add reverb and/or delay judiciously so that it doesn't become "muddy". +0

PatrickDA Yes thanks. I am still experimenting. Never had these problems with my Yamaha Multitrack Cassette Recorder but now that has developed faults. Got to move on! +1
