ericblom Hi Rene, thank you for your comment and compliment. I was just looking for a comment you posted in a dialogue with another member. You stated that knowing the background and source of the music leads to more listening pleasure. This comment (if I have understood correctly) has been occupying my mind for the last few days. I often notice in myself an urge to explain what I have done and how I got there. However, after making the music I am not able to think in words and write anything meaningful. If I listen back later, I've lost it.
Still, I would like to come up with an overarching story of how I make my music and what my people are involved in. So far I haven't been able to...
Thanks again for your involvement and your inspiring comments.

your good friend,
Eric

abuitremorem Hello Eric,
Thanks for your nice comment. When someone makes music that "talks" like you, they don't have to worry about description. Music that speaks for itself and is understood is ideal. But it's like the art of the Romans (I know it best) - the more you know, the more you see. The viewer or listener needs a great deal of knowledge to understand the symbolism and images, which ultimately only glorify Rome :D
Regarding your music, Itocpogo can appreciate it more than I do because he has a huge knowledge and experience - this in contrast to me with a "hearing hole" of 40 years.

And: it's not easy for me to find a title either. My wife often has ideas:D - If you want to write about your music, then write about what you want to do beforehand. Certainly an interesting experience with many surprises.
