I like a good reggae bass line too. Big Daddy Cee has a reggae track I did what I thought was the best bass I ever laid down on a track but when I left the Loops for a bit , it got wiped out. #31148 - I had to remove the bass that was in there but man what a fun bass track.
Back in the day I did sound for a reggae artist named Yabba Griffith. Hes still around and the real deal. I have never seen a 55 gallon garbage bag full of marijuana before working with him. He would roll up a newspaper, get it wet, cram a fist full of reefer in it and use that for a rolling paper. We had pot smoke filling the street outside the club. It was insane.
You didnt have to smoke any pot. Just being in the club and you were wasted. +1
